Effiba Amihere is the legal director of the Ghana Labour Commission and currently managing partner at EFFIBA AMIHERE & ASSOCIATES (previously known as Sozo Law Consult). She is also the executive secretary of the African Women’s Lawyer’s Association.

Amihere was called to the Ghana Bar in 1998 and has been in private practice since. Prior to taking the law course, she was a graduate of the University of Cape Coast [1989] where she did her national service as a teaching assistant at the Religious Studies Department [1998/90].
